The Centrality of Artificial Intelligence in Modern Pedagogy: A Transdisciplinary Framework
Abstract
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education is not just a future idea
anymore—it's something that's happening now and is really important. This paper says that AI should be a main part of how we teach, not just a
small tool. The goal is to connect the standard way schools teach with the
different needs of each student. We believe AI should help change how
subjects are taught and how students are tested, moving beyond just doing
tasks automatically. We look at existing research on smart tutoring, games
in learning, and ethics to show the problems with how AI is used now in
separate areas. We also suggest a new way of thinking using Markov
Decision Processes (MDP) to plan personalized learning paths that help
students the most. Lastly, we talk about the ethical issues, like making
sure AI is fair and easy to understand, and we conclude that having people
involved in the AI process is key to creating a better, fairer education
system.
