Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines

General

  • Language: Vidhina welcomes manuscripts in various Bharatiya languages like Sanskrit, Hindi, Bangla, Bhojpuri, Telugu, etc., and English, fostering vibrant academic dialogue across diverse linguistic landscapes. Manuscripts should be concise, grammatically correct, and follow the chosen language’s conventions.
  • Manuscript Format: Submit manuscripts electronically in Microsoft Word format (.doc).
  • Paper size: A4
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Font & Spacing: Use Unicode universal characters (Arial Unicode MS for Bharatiya languages, Times New Roman for English), font size 12, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Main Headings: Font Size 12, Bold, Centered, Title Case.
  • Subheadings: Font Size 12, Bold, Left-aligned, Sentence case.
  • Sub-subheadings: Font Size 12, Bold, Left-aligned, Sentence case.
  • Pagination: Continuous, including tables and figures.
  • References: APA format, minimum 15 references, Times New Roman size 10, non-bold, alphabetical order, left-aligned.
  • File Size: Max 10 MB
  • Page Numbers: Consecutive numbering starting from title page.
  • Template: Use the downloadable manuscript template provided by Vidhina.
  • Publication Policy: Vidhina does not publish papers by the same author/co-author in consecutive editions.

Research Paper

  • Length: 1,500 to 5,000 words.
  • Title Page: Include title, author(s), affiliations, corresponding author contact, and a concise abstract (250-300 words).
  • Keywords: 5-7 relevant keywords.
  • Introduction: Overview of topic, significance, and study objectives.
  • Literature Review: Discuss related research, highlight key findings and gaps.
  • Methodology: Detail research methods, data collection, analysis, and ethics.
  • Results: Present findings clearly, use tables/figures as needed.
  • Discussion: Interpret results, implications, relate to literature.
  • Conclusion: Summarize main findings and contributions.
  • Appendices: Supplementary materials, datasets, or instruments.

Book Review

  • Length: 700 to 2,000 words.
  • Objectivity: Maintain unbiased tone; avoid personal attacks.
  • Structure: Clear intro, body, conclusion.
  • Content Engagement: Engage with main arguments, findings, and methods.
  • Balanced Assessment: Fair consideration of strengths and weaknesses.
  • Title: Informative and reflective of book content.
  • Book Info: Include author, title, publisher, date, ISBN, pages.
  • Introduction: Brief intro to book and author/topic.
  • Summary: Concise summary of main arguments/findings.
  • Critical Analysis: Discuss strengths/limitations.
  • Comparison: Contrast with other scholarly works.
  • Conclusion: Overall assessment and contribution.

Ethical Considerations

Research involving human participants must conform to ethical principles and be approved by Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) or ethics committees. Authors must ensure proper data handling and disclose any conflicts of interest.

Author Contributions Statement

All authors must clearly outline their individual contributions to research and manuscript preparation, including conception, design, execution, analysis, writing, and revision.

Plagiarism Policy

Vidhina upholds University Grant Commission’s strict plagiarism rules and requires original manuscripts from authors. The acceptable plagiarism threshold is 10%. Manuscripts exceeding this will be rejected.

Submission Process

Submit your manuscript as an email attachment to vidhina26@gmail.com. Also include your plagiarism report and the software used to generate it. Need help? Vidhina may assist with plagiarism checks.

By submitting a manuscript, authors grant Vidhina non-exclusive first publication rights while retaining copyright. This allows Vidhina to reproduce, distribute, and display the article in print and electronic formats without copyright transfer complexities.

After Submission

Peer review typically takes 4-6 weeks. Authors will be notified of editorial decisions via email.
