Submission Guidelines
Please ensure your manuscript meets the following guidelines before submitting it to Vidhina:
General
- Language: Vidhina welcomes manuscripts in various Bharatiya languages like Sanskrit, Hindi, Bangla, Bhojpuri, Telegu, etc. and English, fostering a vibrant academic dialogue across diverse linguistic landscapes. To ensure clarity and accessibility, manuscripts should adhere to the highest standards of conciseness, grammatical correctness, and adherence to the chosen language’s conventions.
- Manuscript Format: Submit manuscripts electronically in Microsoft Word format (.doc).
- Paper size: A4
- Margins: Set margins to 2.5 cm on all sides.
- Font and Spacing: Use Unicode universal characters (Arial Unicode MS- Bharatiya Languages, Times New Roman- English), font size 12, and 1.5 line spacing throughout the manuscript.
- Main Headings: Font Size 12, Bold, Centered, Title Case.
- Subheadings: Font Size 12, Bold, Left-aligned, Sentence case.
- Sub-subheadings: Font Size 12, Bold, Left-aligned, Sentence case.
- Pagination: Continuous, including tables and figures.
- References: Follow the APA reference format for accurate and consistent citations. List the minimum 15 references alphabetically in Times New Roman, Font Size-10, Non-bold, without numbering, and non-justified text.
- File Size: The file size should not exceed 10 MB.
- Page Numbers: Number all pages consecutively, starting with the title page.
To facilitate the manuscript preparation process, Vidhina has provided a manuscript download fromat as a downloadable document. Authors are requested to use this format as a template for their submissions.
Vidhina adheres to a policy of not publishing papers by the same author or co-author in consecutive editions.
Research Paper
- Manuscript length: 1,500 to 5,000 words.
- Title Page: Include the manuscript title, author names and affiliations, corresponding author’s contact information, and a concise abstract (250-300 words).
- Keywords: Provide 5-7 keywords relevant to your research.
- Introduction: Briefly introduce the research topic, its significance, and your study’s objectives.
- Literature Review: Discuss relevant research and scholarship related to your topic, highlighting key findings and identifying existing knowledge gaps.
- Methodology: Describe your research methods and procedures in detail, including data collection, analysis techniques, and ethical considerations.
- Results: Present your findings clearly and concisely, using tables, figures, and graphs where appropriate.
- Discussion: Interpret your results, discuss their implications, and relate them to existing literature.
- Conclusion: Summarize the key findings of your study and highlight its contributions to the field.
Appendices: Include any supplemental materials such as data sets, instruments, and detailed methodology descriptions in the appendices.
Book Review
- Review length: 700 to 2,000 words.
- Objectivity: Reviews should be objective and unbiased, avoiding personal opinions or attacks on the author.
- Structure: Reviews should be well-structured, with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion.
- Content Engagement: Reviews should engage with the book’s central arguments, key findings, and methodological approach.
- Balanced Assessment: Reviews should provide a balanced assessment of the book’s strengths and weaknesses.
- Title: The review title should be informative and accurately reflect the book’s content.
- Author and Book Information: Include the author’s name, book title, publisher, publication date, ISBN number, and number of pages.
- Introduction: Briefly introduce the book, its author, and its main topic.
- Summary: Provide a concise summary of the book’s main arguments and key findings.
- Critical Analysis: Engage critically with the book’s content, focusing on its strengths and weaknesses.
- Comparison and Contrast: Compare and contrast the book with other relevant scholarly works.
- Conclusion: Summarize your overall assessment of the book and its contribution to the field.
Ethical Considerations
Research involving human participants must adhere to ethical research principles and obtain necessary approvals from relevant Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) or ethics committees. Authors must ensure proper data collection, storage, and analysis procedures, following ethical guidelines and data privacy regulations. Authors are responsible for disclosing any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their research.
Author Contributions Statement
All authors must provide a clear and concise statement outlining their individual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. This includes details of each author’s specific role in the conception, design, execution, data analysis, writing, and revision of the manuscript.
Plagiarism Policy
Vidhina adheres to a strict follow University Grant Commission’s policy on plagiarism. And demand the original manuscript by authors. The acceptable threshold for plagiarism is 10%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be rejected.
Submission Process
Please submit your manuscript electronically as an attachment to the following email address (vidhina26@gmail.com). Please also include the accompanying plagiarism report generated by your chosen plagiarism detection software and its name. “Let us know if you need help – Vidhina may be able to conduct a plagiarism check for you.”
By submitting a manuscript to Vidhina, authors grant Vidhina a non-exclusive right of first publication. This means that authors retain copyright to their work while granting Vidhina the non-exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, and display the article in print and electronic formats. This approach simplifies the submission process by eliminating the need for a separate copyright transfer form, ensuring that no legal complications arise later.
After Submission
The peer-review process typically takes 4-6 weeks. You will be notified of the editorial decision or suggestion via email.
